Consumer information and withdrawal notices
1. General consumer information
- The contracting parties to the rental agreement are exclusively the respective landlord and the respective renter.
- The platform operator does not become the landlord of the vehicle and is not a party to the rental agreement.
- The platform operator provides the technical platform, booking logic, communication functions, document process and payment processing for rental price and security deposit through the integrated payment service provider.
- Before a paid booking is concluded, all essential contract data is displayed to the renter.
- This includes in particular the vehicle, landlord, rental period, handover location, total price, included and optional additional services, cancellation terms, payment plan, security-deposit amount and essential use or insurance restrictions.
- After conclusion of the contract, the contract text may be provided in the user account and / or in the booking confirmation.
- The contract language is German unless the offer states otherwise.
2. Allocation of roles in the payment process

3. Notice on withdrawal rights for vehicle rentals
For rental agreements for camping vehicles concluded for a specific period, there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal.
The reason is the statutory exception for leisure or rental services with a fixed date or period.
This notice concerns the vehicle rental. Separate consumer information applies to independent paid platform services, in particular paid partner, operator, visibility or campsite subscriptions. Where such services are offered to consumers, it must be separately stated whether a right of withdrawal exists, whether a statutory exception applies or whether the user expressly requests that the service begin before expiry of a withdrawal period.
4. Separate notice on rental price and security deposit
- The rental price is processed through the platform and the integrated payment service provider.
- Depending on the booking model, either the total amount becomes due immediately or a transparently displayed payment plan with deposit and remaining payment is used.
- The security deposit is also processed through the platform, but as its own payment flow completely separate from the rental price.
- The security deposit is not part of the rental price and is not automatically paid out together with the regular landlord share.
- After documented return, the security deposit is released, refunded or retained in whole or in part in accordance with the rental, claim and platform rules.
- The security deposit may be collected as an actual payment. A mere reservation or authorization of the amount is not owed and may be excluded depending on payment method or payment service provider.
